Oh my this may just be the sweetest stamp set yet. I love the gorgeous girl with no face, because I don’t love colouring faces, and the most delicate and perfect sentiments.
The July 2020 stamp of the month opens so many doors for my crafting with so many different projects. Here is my first project I have made today which is a simple stamp onto White Daisy cardstock using Intense Black ink from Close To My Heart. The ink is made so when you colour it doesn’t bleed which is perfect when using alcohol markers. I have added Silver Stickles to add a touch of bling.
These cute cards were made by our corporate team for some more inspiration.
If you would like a set of your own you can head to my website by clicking here. Each month you can purchase a new D-size stamp set—valued at $34—for just $9. Qualify for this special pricing by placing an order of $80 or more in Close To My Heart products. This month’s set is only available 1–31 July.

Today I would like to share with you my creations which features Close To My Heart’s S2006 Stamp of the Month- Garden Tags. I have decided for this blog hop to choose just one stamp from the set and focus on how to use that. I find that it is the best way to get the most use out of a stamp set. My choice for this hop is the Sunflower tag because it gives me the flexibility to test 3 different techniques.
The first technique I wanted to share is using the Close To My Heart watercolour pencils to colour the flowers and leaves and then use the Waterbrush to blend the colours together. It gives the tag a beautiful gentle look while making it pop off of the card.
The second technique I wanted to share is paper piecing which is probably the easiest of the 3 because it just means stamping the tag onto White Daisy Cardstock and then stamping the extra sunflower in the set onto Canary Cardstock and cutting around it. Pop some foam tape onto the back of the flower and cover one of the sunflowers on the tag. This gives dimension and creates a focal point.
The third and last technique I wanted to share is using the Triblend Markers to colour and outline the flowers. This makes the tag really stand out and be a focal point on the card and is great for bold fun cards.
This exclusive S2006 Stamp of the Month – Garden Tags is only available during June 2020. It can be yours for just $9 with a qualifying order of $80 or for $34 if ordered separately from your CTMH consultant.
